Setting:

     Ura, a land once ruled by torrential rains was tamed when the gods created a chalice. This chalice was named the Eurian Kopa or Chalice of Rain and stood proud atop the Mountains of Mendia containing within the fury of rains that once fell. For many years, the rains were held back by this chalice and the lands around the mountains flourished with flora and fauna alike. Just as quickly as the rains ended, they returned with a vengeance beginning to flood all areas around the mountainsZigi, a simple fisherman, must set out on a journey through the Cities of Hiria, Forests of Basoa, and scale the Mountains of Mendia to find out what happened to the Eurian Kopa and put an end to the rains which threaten his home.

     To accomplish his mission Zigi will have to call upon his ancestral technique of puddle jumping to move between his world and the world of water to surpass obstacles in order to reach the Eurian Kopa. By collecting mana-infused water droplets scattered throughout the lands Zigi may activate portals between his world and the world of water, an exact duplicate of his world flooded many years previously. The Water World an image of what could become of Zigi’s world if the Eurian Kopa is left unchecked. 

Mechanic:

     This game will be a 2D platformer where the player will collect water droplet items to be able to start puddle jumping. A puddle jump is the act of creating a puddle and activating a portal within to transport the player to the Water World and vice versa. To move within the Water World the player will need to swim and in doing so can bypass blockades within the Real World. Beware though, within the Water World oxygen is limited so explore at one’s own risk. Moving between worlds will be key to finding out what happened to the Eurian Kopa and to put an end to the rains once more.
